A Juice detox is the perfect way to start the New Year off properly and especially before your wedding day. This program uses the freshest and most nutritional fruits and vegetables to cleanse and restore your vital organs while giving you smooth skin and silky hair.

What is a Juice Detox

The first step in preparing for your juice detox includes no alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, dairy, wheat, animal meat, fish, and eggs at least a few days before the detox. Your diet should consist mainly of organic low sugar fruits, vegetables.

Typically you will need about 64 ounces of juice throughout each day and on this program you can sip your juice whenever you feel hungry. The most popular fruits and vegetables includes; celery, spinach, kale, apple, ginger root, beet, carrots, cranberry, blue berry, strawberry, coconut water and most any other greens. Apparently, citrus fruits are not commonly used as a part of a juice detox. I use lime or lemon for my recipes. Juice detox

Be sure to wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly and remove any seeds if possible. Try to use organic products only, you can find great deals at your local farmers markets. Also, you can refrigerate most juices for a day or so but, you will reap more health benefits if your juice is fresh.  Juice detox


Ginger Snap

2 slices ginger root

1 lemon, peeled

6 carrots

2 apples, chopped

1 bunch spinach


Red Passion

4 carrots

2 celery stalks

1/2 a beet root

1 broccoli floret

1/2 a lemon, peeled

1 slice ginger root


Jamaica Mi Nice Juice Detox

1/2 cup pineapple

1/2 cup fresh coconut water

1/2 cup mangoes

1 granny smith apple


Rejuvenate Me

1 cucumber

1 a green apple

1 bunch mint

1 bunch parsley

1 slice ginger root

1/2 lemon peeled


My Face So Soft

1 cucumber

1 parsnip

3 carrots

1/2 a lemon, peeled

1/4  green pepper


Juice Detox Directions:

Run each item from your juice detox recipe through a juicer. I usually save the “trash” to make soup or throw in my garden bed as fertilizer. I would not recommend a blender unless you have a Bledtec or Vitamix product.

I must also add that if for anytime you feel terribly hungry, weak or nauseous, you must eat. Be sure to check with your doctor before starting this regimen. Also, if you think 5 days is too long, try starting out with a 3 day mini juice detox, your body will still hug you  :lol:
